So I’m back in Dhaka after about seven weeks away and looking for somewhere to have supper when I spot this Chinese restaurant advertising its special 400 Taka (3 pounds) buffet:

On the menu are:
Fresh-Faced Sea Fish
Youngish Chicken and Duck
Delicate Porridge
Lively Vegetables
and the scarily named Mouth Licking Hot Pot – or at least I assume its on the menu and not [...]
