Camera Correction

Well, according to Shahidul Alam who, as Bangladesh’s leading photographer, should know, what I thought was a pin hole camera is in fact not one at all.  But I do still think it is pretty amazing that a camera designed in the 1840s-60s is in use on the streets of Dhaka.

I’ve had an extremely busy and satisfying last few weeks – reporting on the High Court victory of Dr Humayra Abedin, the NHS doctor imprisoned by her parents in Dhaka, who, she says, drugged her and forced her to marry.
